Our Barrel House (tasting room) is open to the public at 111 East 8th Street in downtown Medford's historic district in the old Halley's Palace Hotel.
We are proud to be in downtown and we believe in supporting our local economy. We buy local Rogue every chance we get.
We currently have six beers on draft all handcrafted on our nanobrewing system.(But we are adding FOUR MORE TAPS stay tuned) We have a 3 barrel per week capacity and our system is completely manual, there is absolutely no automation to it whatsoever.  We want to be your local neighborhood pub with a little grub. Our beers are heavily English style influenced but we are truly proud to offer some Pacific Northwest character into most of our beer. Our Agate Lake Pale Ale is truly Pacific Northwest with plenty of Cascade hoppiness.
We also have a constantly rotating LTD/Homebrewer line which features some fun and unique brews creatively concocted by local homebrewers.

***02-09-2012: Denny's scrumptious "Blue Collar Cream Ale" The cream ale is so well received it's going to become a regular on draft.
***03-22-2012: Steve Terilli and I brewed the "East 8th IPA" designed by Steve to be a quintessential West Coast IPA, it has three different Pacific Northwest hops, plenty of malt, and well balanced. At an approximate 6.9% ABV and 116 IBU's it is an amazing hopsperience.
***04-27-2012: We are always proud of our local homebrewers totally getting their beer-GEEK on but this one really nails it. I challenge you to find a Northern English Brown Ale anywhere but BricktownE, you might find one in Northern UK, good luck getting there with rising airline tickets, or better yet just come get one at BricktownE, then look up a Northern English Brown on the BJCP guideline and get your BEERGEEK going on, we are totally geeking out over this one. Welcome to beer geek nirvana MEDFORD you've just tasted a great NORTHERN ENGLISH BROWN, its truly fantastic!!!!!

We also plan to serve cask ale out of pins or firkins, and we'll call it the "first firkin Friday of the month" We are studying the art of cask conditioning to release our first cask ale. Our ESB is going to live in CASKS, so watch for it coming back as REAL ALE. Fun Stuff...

Handcrafted Beer

 

Beer Number 1 is our Homebrewer Line: This draft line is constantly changing with new unique and exciting beers brewed and designed by our local homebrewer craftsman. Ask your server what’s on draft today.

ABV= Alcohol by volume, IBU = International Bittering Units (hops), SRM = Standard Reference Method (Color of the beer)

Blue Collar Cream Ale (American Cream Ale):   The Ale version of a typical American Lager. This light and delicious brew is made with Premium 2 row malt, corn grits, and just a smidge of rice, gently hopped to give it that smooth creaminess. Finishes mildly sweet and very refreshing.

5.0%ABV, 22 IBU, 3.0 SRM

Agate Lake Pale Ale (American Pale Ale): Pacific Northwest Pale ale malt and small amounts of crystal malt make this beer really showcase the floral and citrus Northwest signature hops. The extra-long boil for this brew assures a clean tasting easy drinking crowd favorite.

5.8% ABV, 40 IBU, 8.2 SRM

Table Rock Red Ale (American Amber Ale): This is our favored and best-selling red ale brewed with premium 2row malt, tettnang hops, and flavor/aroma hopped with PNW cascades.

5.8% ABV, 37 IBU, 15.2 SRM

Rogue Trail India Ale (English IPA): This is our signature brew, named for our slogan, “Don’t fear the Barrel Hopped beer.” We brew our IPA with true to form European ingredients, with over 2lbs of hops per barrel! Then we rack that beer over to a local wine barrel where we age it with some more hops in the oak. Traditionally the IPA was brewed to last the long voyage in oak barrels aboard ships from England to India.

7.0% ABV, 69IBU, 9.5 SRM

Barrique Black Ale (Robust Porter):  This beer is full bodied, creamy and smooth with a dark rich full head. It is brewed with a generous amount of domestic chocolate malt, and secondarily fermented in a local wine barrel with 100% Curacao vanilla bean extract.

7.0% ABV, 35IBU, 34 SRM

Top quality freshly sliced pastrami heaped with swiss cheese and barrel aged sauerkraut all on rye bread grilled to perfection.
